Shell Back Upholstered Arm Chair, Ex. Condition
Peso Priced Item This measures 30" wide and 40" tall at the back. The fabric is in very good condition. A 1930's chair in a classic design called a shell back which was recovered in a high quality fabric (probably in the 1970's), this style of chair is very expensive to re-upholster using a lot of fabric to make each rib on the back. These provides a super firm 'sit'. The frame is hardwood with dowelled construction which gives it the durablity to last already 90 years!!
