Royal Sarouk Rug, 11' 10" by 8' 7". excellent condition. As you can see from my photos, depending on the angle of the camera, the colors take on a different hue. This is why we always offer to allow us to place the rug in your home for a day or two so you can see the variations of color based on your environment. Incandescent light, colors of walls, light from windows or skylights, all affect the color tones. I would say that the yellow/cream hue is the true color tone of this rug. This type of Sarouk are known for their very wide borders. This particular rug still maintains its´ flat woven edge on one end even though this is most likely more than 75 years old (30's to 40's by the design and color palette! Obviously this was used in a very low traffic place in the house.
