Authentic Modern Nahavand Persian Rug from Iran, measuring 81" × 54" (206 × 137 cm). Approximately 25–35 years old and in very good condition. Handwoven in the renowned Hamadan weaving tradition, this rug offers exceptional craftsmanship, durability, and timeless Persian design.
Nahavand rugs are among the finest woven in the Hamadan region of western Iran. Although Hamadan and Nahavand rugs are closely related, Nahavand rugs are recognized for their higher quality and distinctive weaving techniques, including a variation of the Lilihan style with a single-weft construction.

"While the city of Hamadan serves as a trading hub for hundreds of surrounding villages, the finest rugs from these villages are sold under their own specific names, such as Nahavand, Malayer, or Tuyserkan, while simpler rugs are sold under the collective name 'Hamadan'."
