Peso Priced Item. Huichol Moral, Flower Design, 9" x 8", Used .. that is unusual .. Huicholes rarely let go of their bags.. this is one of those that the owner finally decided he needed some $$ and let it go.
It does show signs of use, a little soiled and a small hole in one corner. I collected this old bag in San Andres Cohamiata, Jalisco during my visits with the Huicholes in the 1980's. You used to fly in from PV on a Friday or Monday. 2 flights a week, no hotels, you just sleep on the ground in someone's out building, taking cans of sardines and crackers .. obviously I was a younger traveler!
