Peso Priced Item.
Georgian Grandfather Clock, Late 18th c.
Clock features two carved rosettes with a missing urn finial on the top of the hood and two columns running on each side of the hood. The dial features painted designs of Period women in each corner with moon phase and hand painted hunt scenes and sweep second hand.
Case features shaped door with Acanthus topped reeded columns, resting on bracket feet.
When this came in from a local Estate we invested heavily in restoring the clockworks. We can send the clock man to your house to get it balanced and running when you buy it. But we can't guarantee it for more than 30 days (the clock man 'MAY' offer a longer guarantee .
Should be no problem as long as it stays in the same place. This is the trouble we've had in the store, everytime we move it we need the clock man to get it set up again.
At this price, one is just buying a gorgeous Georgian piece of furniture!
The Moon Phase feature is not functioning.
