From the Estate of Fred Pottinger of San Antonio , Tx. Fred was the owner of the iconic store,
"A Horse of a Different Color" which was nestled in an acre of gardens including his home. Catering to Hollywood greats, Laura Bush, corporate giants and the best interior designers in the country, he had a an eye for the best in Spanish Colonial art and furnishings. His shop/home is featured in many of the interior design books covering southwest homes. Many of his best peices were donated to various Museums in Texas and finally there was a tremendous series of Estate Auctions in Austin where we acquired many of these treasures. Fred was a friend and client of Barbara's in the 1990's. This is one of many that I will be offering over the next few months as I downsize my collections.
