Vintage Tlaquepaque Petatillo Urn, Ca. 1950's - Lucano?
Peso Priced Item: A nice old petatillo piece that I am assuming was made in Tlaquepaque, perhaps by someone in the Lucano family. An unusual form, never have seen one like this. It may very well be considered a 'second' due to the fact that the glaze turned gray in some areas during firing and there are several 'kiln cracks' that also resulted from the unusual form heating in the oven in an irregular manner. On close examination you can see where the two halves were joined. This measures 15" in diameter at the handles and 14' tall. Sold As-Is.
