Vintage Mexican Sarape, Rio Grande, Wool Serape, Chimayo
Peso Priced Item:
A beautiful Mexican weaving that is dated around 1930-40. This type of weaving is known as Rio Grande. Some people think it is a relative to the Chimayo weavings from New Mexico. It is a thick weaving with thick yarns, unlike the fine yarns used in the antique Saltillo Sarapes.
The condition is good but it does have some small holes and a tiny bit frayed on the sides and ends. This measures 72" long and 52" wide.
