Vintage Angel Cortez G. Brunido Vase.  Size is 12" long, 10" tall and 7" deep. 
Angel is the patriarch of the Cortez family from Tonala, renowned for his innovative designs (now copied by many other artists) and the excellent workmanship.  
This piece is signed by Angel the father and dated 2002.  It has not been handled well, resulting in some blemishes in the burnished finish, for that reason we are offering it at a price well below market value for one of his early works.  You are welcomed to come into the store and examine it to see how the blemishes affect its' overall appearance. 
It is double sided, that is, one if his iconic images appears on each side.  In this case it is a hummingbird feeding her chick and a campesino carrying his harvest.
