Signed "Medina", Mexican Social Realism School - 1940's

$24,500.00Price

Peso Priced Item:   The signature does not correspond with any artist I can find from this period.  No doubt it is Mexico City, a dance hall with a young clientele.  The work represents the youth of Mexico in the period.  The dance hall girsl, the comradery of the young men.   This measures  46" by 38 ".   Frame is not original.  This was retouched a decade ago and something in the retouch paint has left a thin white 'effect' in the repainted areas .. probably can be remedied by an artist?
