Price in US Dollars. Roberto de la Selva, one of the most important sculptors in Mexico was actually from Nicaragua. He moved to Mexico City in 1921 and befiriended Diego Rivera and from there he began to excell. His works are in major museums of the world, most importanty his bas relief panels in San Antonio Texas. This is carved of local mahogany (caoba) and measures 15" tall (38 cm), 12" wide and 1" thick. It is signed but not dated.
