This classical Chinese carpet has all the designs typical in the antique rugs. The infinity pattern woven through the central medallion, vases, scrolls and others are all traditional Chinese motifs. The condition is very good with just one small rust spot from the leg of a sofa or coffee table that had a metal slider on the bottom. Very minor (about 1" diameter). The colors are soothing, the rich beige field and the deep indigo blue secondary borders, these are easy colors to work with. Soft, lush, lanolin rich wool is manifest from the sheen that is cast on the surface. This measures 14' 2" by 9' 10". This was just washed and ready to install in your home!
