Antique Kuba 'Zejwa' Rug, 3' 6" by 6' 10"

Priced in US Dollars.  This  rug was made in Iran around 1900.  Quba rugs and carpets are named for a town that is located in Azerbaijan Republic not far from the Caspian Sea; therefore, making Kubas a sub-division of Caucasian carpets.   Within the Kuba genre itself, there exist many subdivisions including: Alpan-Kuba, Karagashli, Konaghend, Chi Chi, Perepedil, Seychour and Zejwa.  I believe this one would be considered a Zejwa from the design and supr tight weave pattern ..

The size  is 3' 6" by 6' 10",  very good condition.  As with all our rugs you will have 7 days to return it in case the wear is more than you can live with, or for whatever reason.
