* Antique English Bow Front Dresser, (1800-1825)
What an elegant piece!
Antique English Bow Front Dresser, splayed feet, wonderful Mahogany veneers.
Brass hardware (not original).
I estimate this to be from the 1st quarter of the 19th C. (1800-1825). But it could be older. The choice of exquisite veneers shows it was from a prominent maker in its´time.
The hardware is a replacement but combines well being vintage brass.
The brass escutchens are original.
This measures 35 3/4" (91cm) wide, 42" (107cm) tall and 19 3/4" 50cm deep. Some old repairs on the back. Drawers are constructed with a fine dovetail, using proper secondary woods.
