Antique Bradley & Hubbard, Slag Glass Table Lamp, 16" diameter
US Dollar Priced Item: This early 20th C. lamp is made with curved slag glass panels. The metal is spelter in the shade and iron on the base. The circular base design is one of B&H's patented designs (263 B), they would combine it with many different columns to form a variety of lamps. The Bradley & Hubbard Manufacturing Company (1852–1940) was formed in Meriden, Connecticut, and over the years produced Art Brass tables, call bells, candlestick holders, clocks, match safes, lamps, architectural grilles, railings, etc. Overall the company patented 238 designs and mechanical devices. This measures 22" tall and 16" in diameter. This has the patented 'acorn' pulls on the chains. Original sockets, rewired. There are a couple of blemishes to the finish on the base and the metal frame on the shade (see photos).
