She adds a chemical to her paint to cause it to craze, when drying, that replicates an antique texture on the surface. 
Her use of silver and gold in a relief technique adds a 3rd dimension to her works. 
Put all that into this incredible reproduction of a Colonial Spanish frame and you have a treasure to grace your home in true Hacienda Style.
