Fabulous Antique Mahal Palace carpet. This
rug was reduced from a truly gigantic carpet (look at how large the
borders are),
frequently these old Palace carpets are severly worn in
high traffic areas and so they are sent back to
Iran and reduced in size with small rewoven areas inserted to
complete the designs according to the original proportion. A lovely piece
that is of an EXTREMELY rare pattern! Approx. 8' by 11'
